O2  is believed to beaten off competition from Orange and Vodafone to exclusive distribute Palm Pre in the UK and it’s a new rival to iPhone. Palm Pre is web-enabled smartphone with multi touch screen and sliding keyboard and lots of new features. The device is launchin in US on June 4. 2009. The Palm Pre will hit the markets before Christmas in the UK.
Orange perhaps will clinch the deal with iPhone 3.0 (if the rumors are true if Orange is signing up with Apple for rights in the UK).
