I had been using Nimbuzz since their first launch and quietly impressed with the features and O2 Germany have this app as pre-installed on TG01 handset from Toshiba.
I have been using Nimbuzz on my Nokia N97 and it’s simply brilliant that it keeps me updated with my friends wherever and it supports popular IM, social networks, including facebook.  For German users. StudiVZ. is very popular SN network in Germany and O2 is second mobile operator after Spice Mobile from India to have tie up with Nimbuzz.

Opera Software has released an alpha version of Unite, software that turns a computer into both a client and a server, allowing it to distribute content to other computers directly across the Web, without the need for traditional Web servers, the company said on Tuesday.
Unite services will run in the browser, so no additional software has to be downloaded, and services will work wherever Opera works, including on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux, and later on mobile phones and other devices.

Apple has released ‘”Golden Master” edition of iPhone 3.0 OS to developer, making it ready for consumers. This version is the same one you will expect to get on June 17th 2009. You don’t have to be developer to run and install it.

Apple has just announced a new version of the iPhone 3GS. The “S” apparently stands for “Speed,” with Apple indicating that the new device is “the fastest, most powerful iPhone yet.”
The announcement came at today’s Worldwide Developer’s Conference, where Apple has announced a slew of updates, including the ability to purchase and rent movies via your iPhone and the impending launch of version 3.0 of the iPhone OS, which will be available on June 17th.

Blyk after being successful in Finland and UK is set to launch soon in India. The company won’t divulge any real details soon, but they are in talk with local companies and hiring senior level positions.
Blyk offers customers some free talk time or free texts in return for accepting targeted advertising on their phones every day. In India, the ad-funded company is seeking partners to gain access to their spectrum, or airwaves, and subscriber base.
